Daniel Omielanczuk and Aleksei Oleinik didn’t fight fast but they did fight hard before Omielanczuk had his hand raised by majority decision. The heavyweight bout was part of the main card of the UFC Fight Night 91 event at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. It aired on FS1 following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Oleinik wanted to turn the fight into a grappling battle and had early success with the gameplan. Omielanczuk took over in the second half of the bout, using a smothering top game and some heavy punches on the feet to open up Oleinik.
