Neil Seery (16-12 MMA, 3-3 UFC) was set to retire after his flyweight fight against Ian McCall (13-5-1 MMA, 2-3-1 UFC) to close out Saturday’s card, which takes place at SSE Arena Belfast in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The entire event streams on UFC Fight Pass. But McCall fell ill ahead of the weigh-ins, was hospitalized, and had to be pulled from the card. That means Seery’s retirement fight is on hold, and it means McCall now has had three consecutive bouts fall out during the final days leading up to his fight. This time, it’s due to his illness.
