Dustin Poirier was able to avenge his loss to Conor McGregor in emphatic fashion. In their first meeting, which took place in 2014, McGregor made quick work of Poirier by stopping him in Round 1. Poirier landed a brief takedown, but McGregor then did a good job of working his way back up.
