Jon Jones The UFC on Tuesday suspended light heavyweight champion Jon Jones indefinitely and has been stripped him of his title . Jones was scheduled to defend his title against Anthony Johnson in the UFC 187 main event next month. Instead, Daniel Cormier will step in to face Johnson for the now-vacant title. Cormier fought Jones in January and lost a unanimous decision.
