UFC Lightweight Standout Mark Bocek Retires

Longtime UFC lightweight Mark Bocek has called it quits. Bocek, via a Twitter post earlier this week, decided to retire from mixed martial arts at the ripe old age of 32. “I’m retiring from pro MMA,” he wrote. “I would like to thank everyone who has helped me and supported me throughout this journey. On to the next chapter.” A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Bocek competed for the majority of his professional MMA career under the banner of the UFC, dating back to 2007. His overall record stands at 12-5 and 8-5 in the Octagon
