Filed under: News , UFC , Videos LAS VEGAS – Thiago Alves made things interesting, but he was able to pick up a big TKO win over Jordan Mein in the second round of their UFC 183 bout. Mein (29-10 MMA, 3-2 UFC) controlled the action in the first round, at times looking as though he might finish Alves (21-9 MMA, 13-6 UFC). In Round 2, it was Alves who landed a heavy body kick that hurt Mein. Alves swarmed with big punches that forced Mein to cover up and wait to be saved by the referee.
