UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Miesha Tate is officially part of the women’s flyweight division after UFC on ABC 3 weigh-ins. Tate (19-8 MMA, 6-5 UFC), a former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, will test the waters in a new weight class Saturday when she meets Lauren Murphy (15-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in a potential title eliminator for “Cupcake.” Before she can step in the octagon, though, Tate had to step on the scale.
