If nothing else, the UFC on ESPN+ 21 co-main event between Alexander Volkov and Greg Hardy is an interesting study in contrasts. Hardy (5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) took the heavyweight fight on just three weeks’ notice when Junior dos Santos dropped out of what was the scheduled main event on Saturday’s card. Hardy is hard-hitting and clearly ambitious, but he gives up a ton of experience to Volkov (30-7 MMA, 4-1 UFC), the former Bellator champion who has won four of his five UFC fights. So, does Hardy have a chance of pulling off what would be a tremendous upset?
