UFC on ESPN 31 provided the violence Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, but the highlights came with a price. As a result of potential injuries sustained in their bouts, seven fighters were handed 180-day medical suspensions by the Nevada Athletic Commission, which oversaw the event. Among those handed six-month terms were featherweight contenders Jose Aldo (31-7 MMA, 21-6 UFC) and Rob Font (19-4 MMA, 9-5 UFC), who competed in the main event and suffered eye injuries as a result of their battle
