SAN DIEGO – The main event for UFC on ESPN 41 on Saturday is now official after Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz made weight. Ahead of Saturday’s headliner, Vera (19-7-1 MMA, 13-6 UFC) and Cruz (24-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) had to step on the scale at weigh-ins and hit the bantamweight limit. That took place Friday morning at the UFC host hotel, where Vera was first to the scale registered at 135.5 pounds. Cruz, meanwhile, came to weigh-ins approximately 14 minutes later and was 135 pounds even on the scale. It's official! @ChitoVeraUFC and @DominickCruz have made weight for the #UFCSanDiego main event, and looked *sharp* on the scale.
