CHICAGO – Alex Caceres ‘ late rally and slick submission were the reasons for Sergio Pettis ‘ first career loss. Today’s bantamweight bout was part of the UFC on FOX 10 preliminary card, which aired on FOX Sports 1 from Chicago’s United Center. Caceres (10-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC), an underdog, remained competitive in an entertaining bout, but he saved the dramatics for late in the fight, when he choked out young prospect Pettis (10-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) with seconds remaining in the bout.
