When the horn sounded, the Cuban “Soldier of God” had a dominant unanimous decision win over Tavares and his fourth straight win to start his UFC career. Tavares (12-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) did his best to answer Romero’s (8-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) steady offense, but the Olympian never really let him in the fight on his way to a unanimous decision sweep.
