SAN JOSE – It took Anthony Johnson (18-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) less than a minute to send Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (21-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) to the canvas and possibly cement his position as a future title contender. In a violent display of power, Johnson rocked the Brazilian PRIDE veteran early with his right hand and followed up with several more that forced the referee to intervene at the 0:44 mark of the first round. The light heavyweight bout co-headlined today’s UFC on FOX 12 event at San Jose’s SAP Center. The majority of the card aired on FOX following select prelims on UFC Fight Pass
