Mairbek Taisumov STOCKHOLM – If the odds coming into the bout were any indication, Anthony Christodoulou faced a massive uphill battle when he stepped into the octagon with Mairbek Taisumov . The action didn’t play out any differently than those odds suggested it would, with Taisumov (23-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) dominating the fight before finishing Christodoulou (12-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with strikes early in the second. The stoppage came 38 seconds into Round 2. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC on FOX 14 event at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead a main card on FOX.
