The younger fighter won eight of 11 bouts at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center, with Luke Rockhold putting concluding the network-televised event with a showcase performance against Lyoto Machida . Rockhold (14-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC), a former Strikeforce champ, submitted Machida (22-6 MMA, 14-5 UFC) in the second round for one of eight finishes on the card.
