The welterweight bout opened up the preliminary card of today’s UFC on FOX 16 event at United Center in Chicago. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims and a main card on FOX. Cummings (18-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was the early aggressor, walking forward while Steele (13-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC) tried to move and find his bearings.
