ORLANDO, Fla. – Alistair Overeem ’s left hand bloodied Junior dos Santos ’ nose, then split open his eye, then put him on the floor. That final blow proved to be the deciding one for Overeem (40-14 MMA, 5-3 UFC), who won a TKO victory over Dos Santos (17-4 MMA, 11-3 UFC) when referee Dan Miragliotta stepped in to halt the bout over Dos Santos’ objections at the 4:43 mark of Round 2.
