Rafael dos Anjos may have cemented his position as UFC lightweight champion with a first-round stoppage of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the UFC on FOX 17 main event, but he wasn’t the top earner on the payroll. That distinction went to Alistair Overeem , who finished out his UFC contract with a victory over Junior dos Santos , as he heads into free agency. Overeem was paid a disclosed purse of $542,857, which easily eclipsed dos Anjos’ $300,000.
