Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Demian Maia wasted very little time running through the ground game of Carlos Condit , pulling off a submission of the fellow welterweight contender in less than two minutes. The welterweight bout was the main event of the UFC on FOX 21 event at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. It aired on FOX following prelims on FOX and UFC Fight Pass. Maia scored a quick takedown of Condit in the opening moments of the bout. Once on the ground, Condit had no answer as Maia cut through his guard with ease. Maia took the back as Condit rolled before locking in a body triangle and squeezing with the rear-naked choke for the finish at the 1:52 mark of Round 1.
