SACRAMENTO – Zach Makovsky outworked, out-wrestled, and out-struck Scott Jorgensen for the better part of a spirited three-round battle, using a sharp left hand and a creative ground game to stymie the former bantamweight Jorgensen in his first UFC bout as a flyweight, earning a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC on FOX 9 event at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
