Weigh-ins for this month’s UFC on FOX 9 event take place Friday, Dec. 13, at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. The same venue hosts the following night’s FOX-televised event, which features a five-round flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and top contender Joseph Benavidez , a rematch from their fight in the final of the inaugural UFC four-man flyweight tournament in September 2012. Additionally, lightweight contender Josh Thomson hosts a special Q&A session for UFC Fight Club members prior to the weigh-ins. Doors to the festivities open to members of the UFC Fight Club, the promotion’s official fan club, at 1 p.m.
