After shoving a referee while disagreeing with a TKO stoppage at this past weekend’s UFC event, Jason High has received his walking papers. UFC President Dana White today announced the 32-year-old fighter’s release. High (18-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC) shoved referee Kevin Mulhall after opponent Rafael dos Anjos (21-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) delivered some second-round ground-and-pound. High wasn’t unconscious, but dos Anjos delivered a barrage of punches , and the Brazilian then looked at the ref, who halted the bout at the 3:36 mark of the round (check out the dos Anjos vs. High video highlights )
