With its debut in Mexico coming this fall, the UFC has made a roster addition with one of that country’s standout fighters. Augusto Montano  (13-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a welterweight who trains at the Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA camp in Albuquerque, N.M., and was part of the promotion’s development program, has signed with the UFC. UFC officials recently announced the news of the contract for “Dodger” following an initial report from Fightland . No date for Montano’s debut has been set, but there’s a strong likelihood he’ll be targeted for UFC 180, which takes place Nov. 16 in Mexico City.
