Jamal Parks RFA featherweight  Jamal Parks said he was working as a bouncer at a country bar when  Daniel Cormier walked into his gym. Parks had only begun training in MMA one year before, having transitioned as many do from wrestling. Like Cormier, he had wrestled for Oklahoma State University. A former All-American and fifth-place finisher at the 2011 NCAA championships, it was clear Parks had a skill set that would serve him well in fighting.
