Doctors flip-flopped over her medical status, but today UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk finally went under the knife to repair damage on her injured thumb. Jedrzejczyk (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) dominated Jessica Penne (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 69 main event at O2 World Berlin in Germany’s capital city this past month. But she suffered a broken right thumb during her third-round TKO victory . FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight” reported soon after the fight that Jedrzejczyk would undergo surgery in Los Angeles. However, the Polish titleholder later revealed via her official Instagram  account that surgery was no longer required
