The last time the UFC Octagon was in Brazil was the day the world began shutting down, March 14, 2020. So its return to the country is significant to the sport and the world’s recovery as a whole. On Wednesday the UFC announced a new broadcast deal for the region, and UFC 283 to be hosted there on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
