Apparently, today’s Ultimate Media Day face-off wasn’t enough for the fighters and camps participating in Saturday’s main event. Fourteen-time UFC veteran Tyson Griffin, who’s currently serving as a member of Daniel Cormier ’s camp, today posted some behind-the-scenes footage of “DC,” UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and their respective teams having words following today’s media obligations. Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) and Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) meet in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 182, which takes place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Earlier in the day, the two top light heavyweights were face-to-face at an Ultimate Media Day event to promote the heavily anticipated fights. Tempers flared when the two came together on stage, and UFC President Dana White was forced to break the pair apart before their verbal encounter became a physical one.
