Jussier Formiga ‘s upcoming fight with Zach Makovsky is going to have a real impact in the rankings. Formiga, though, just doesn’t think they mean all that much. Formiga (16-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who’s currently No. 6 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA flyweight rankings (as well as the official UFC rankings), takes on No. 10 Makovsky (18-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC) on Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 47 main card, which airs on FOX Sports 1 from Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.
