SYDNEY – UFC middleweight and “The Ultimate Fighter 17″ veteran Clint Hester  briefly flirted with light heavyweight. But now, he is firmly committed to the middleweight division. His opponent at Friday’s UFC Fight Night 55 event, “TUF: Smashes” winner Robert Whittaker, is bulking up to fight at 185 pounds despite a win in his previous outing at welterweight. It might seem an unwise decision for Whittaker (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and a boon for Hester (11-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC), who’s won four straight fights since his appearance his own “TUF” appearance. Hester, though, isn’t entirely convinced weight will play a factor in their meeting at at Sydney’s Allphones Arena. (The event streams live on UFC Fight Pass.) “There’s going to be a size advantage,” he told MMAjunkie.
