Khabib Nurmagomedov had a perfect career. The UFC lightweight champion hung up his gloves after notching his third successful title defense, when he submitted Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. He stood firm in his decision , up until UFC president Dana White finally succumbed to his retirement after months of trying to convince him to come back for one more fight. Nurmagomedov (29-0 MMA, 13-0 UFC) has mauled every opponent put in front of him and looked better as the competition got stiffer.
