Urijah Faber is the only fighter to hold a victory over newly crowned UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz . Now he wants another showdown with “The Dominator.” Faber (33-8 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Cruz (21-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) have a longstanding feud that goes back to when “The California Kid” earned a first-round submission victory at WEC 26 in March 2007. The fight marked the only defeat of Cruz’s career, a loss he later avenged when he defeated Faber in a rematch at UFC 132 in July 2011. The pair was then scheduled to have a trilogy bout at UFC 148 in July 2012 after coaching Season 15 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series. Cruz was forced to pull out of the fight with what the first in a long line of well-documented injuries, and the timing to rebook the fight hasn’t come together. That is until now.
