“The Korean Zombie” got back into the win column this past Saturday at UFC on ESPN 25 with an impressive decision win over Dan Ige in the night’s main event. Just how much was Chan Sung Jung ’s performance worth in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie featherweight rankings? Not as much as you might think. Of course, that wasn’t the only change to the rankings this week, with UFC on ESPN 25 having a few other fights of consequence. There was also Rory MacDonald , who lost a controversial split decision to Gleison Tibau at 2021 PFL 5, which caused him to fall in the latest welterweight rankings.
