Nate Diaz violently ended a two-fight skid with a first-round beatdown of former title challenger Gray Maynard this past weekend at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. The victory moved Diaz to the No. 8 spot in this week’s USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie Power Rankings. Also on the move was fellow TUF 18 Finale winner Josh Sampo.
