Despite the magnitude of UFC 182 and a number of pivotal matchups, this week’s USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA rankings didn’t see many changes, and a familiar name remains on top. UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones defeated Daniel Cormier in this past Saturday’s pay-per-view headliner, and both fighters maintained their spots in the light-heavyweight and pound-for-pound rankings. However, following news of his failed drug test due to cocaine, Jones’ future remains a bit murky. For now, though, he remains MMA’s 205-pound and pound-for-pound kingpin.
