An interesting debate out of this past weekend’s UFC 264 has been the stoppage in the fight between Sean O’Malley and Kris Moutinho . O’Malley, probably as expected, outclassed the newcomer who took the fight on 10 days’ notice, but Moutinho showed incredible toughness as he absorbed a plethora of strikes and refused to go away, though O’Malley eventually won by TKO with 27 seconds to go in Round 3 . Even though Moutinho wasn’t down or out, it appeared to be a mercy stoppage by referee Herb Dean
