Ahead of tonight’s “WSOF 20: Branch vs. McElligott,” WSOF matchmaker Ali Abdelaziz recalls how Matt Hamill’s unexpected illness caused a chain reaction that threatened the integrity of March’s WSOF 19 event. Due to some quick thinking and a flexible roster of fighters, Abdelaziz made a series of changes that resulted in one of most entertaining nights in WSOF history, and the matchmaker believes it will go down in history as a real turning point for the company.
