ONE heavyweight champion Vera (16-8) is set to make his return to action against Arjan Bhullar at ONE Infinity 1 in Manila, Philippines, on May 29, where he hopes to continue his devastating run in the Asian promotion’s heaviest division. Since signing for ONE Championship in 2014, Vera has fought four times as a heavyweight and claimed all four wins by first-round knockout. He made a splash in his debut with a soccer-kick KO of Igor Subora, then captured the heavyweight title in his second appearance with a stunning head-kick KO against Paul Cheng.
