Invicta FC has released the latest episode of the promotion’s exclusive, behind-the-scenes series, “Immersed.” The latest episode focuses on August’s Invicta FC 44 , which featured a pair of championship contests. Here’s the description, courtesy of Invicta FC officials: The main event featured one of the greatest knockouts in Invicta history, as Emily Ducote stopped UFC veteran Danielle Taylor with a head kick. The victory not only earned Ducote the 115-pound belt, but also a spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Additionally, a new champion was crowed at 135 pounds, as Phoenix Tournament 3 winner Taneisha Tennant concluded her ascension through the division by besting Lisa Verzosa by decision.
