The top of the UFC’s light heavyweight division comes into sharp focus as two Brazilian contenders go head to head in the main event of UFC on ESPN+ 40 in Las Vegas. Former 205-pound title challengers Thiago Santos (21-7 MMA, 13-6 UFC) and Glover Teixeira (31-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) both stand on the verge of a possible shot at the light heavyweight title, and the two compatriots will face off in Saturday’s headline bout looking to position themselves at the front of the queue to challenge for the title currently held by Poland’s Jan Blachowicz. Ahead of their bout, former UFC welterweight title challenger and UFC analyst Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy invites us into “The War Room,” as he takes a deep dive into the matchup and offers his technical pointers ahead of the fight. Check out his pre-fight assessment via the video above.
