LAS VEGAS – Daniel Cormier today hit the scale for UFC 226 and was 41 pounds heavier than his previous weigh-in; no wonder he was all smiles. Cormier (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), the UFC’s reigning light-heavyweight titleholder, is moving up a division for Saturday’s UFC 226 pay-per-view headliner and title fight with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic (18-2 MMA, 12-2 UFC) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Check out the video above as Cormier was in a cheerful mood – and even joked about Thursday’s near-disaster of falling off a press-conference stage.
