Filed under: Featured , Featured Videos , News , Only on Junkie , UFC , Videos Dozens of women’s strawweights converged on Las Vegas on Monday hoping to win one of eight spots on the upcoming Season 20 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” MMAjunkie takes you behind the scenes of those fighter tryouts, which took place at Palace Station Hotel & Casino, in an exclusive video. On hand for the tryouts, beyond just the prospective “TUF” fighters themselves , were UFC President Dana White and matchmakers Joe Silva and Sean Shelby, plus women’s bantamweight Miesha Tate. White said he’s encouraged by how quickly the women’s side of the sport has progressed since the days when he vowed women would never fight in the UFC.
