Cruz (20-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC), a former champion who meets reigning bantamweight titleholder T.J. Dillashaw (12-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) in Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 81 headliner, arrived today at Boston’s UFC Gym on crutches. However, after a few gasps and worried looks, Cruz entered the cage and channeled his inner candy man (via Twitter ): In one of the greatest sight gags in MMA history, Dominick Cruz showed up to the workouts on crutches, then Willy Wonka-ed into the cage. — Matt Erickson (@MMAjunkieMatt) January 15, 2016 For now, the FOX Sports 1-televised title fight, which takes place at Boston’s TD Garden, is still a go.
