The UFC’s bantamweight division is one of the deepest in the company, but it’s also providing us with some controversy as of late. Aljamain Sterling , the current 135-pound champion, was announced to compete at UFC 267 in a rematch with Petr Yan – who lost the first fight by disqualification – before we found out he wasn’t even medically cleared following neck surgery. So now the UFC is doing an interim title fight with Yan and Cory Sandhagen , who are amazing fighters, but both are coming off losses.
