Glover Teixeira did it. He finally did it. At this past weekend’s UFC 267, we saw Teixeira claim the UFC light heavyweight championship at 42 years old with a second-round submission of Jan Blachowicz. The victory capped off a long journey to the top for the beloved Brazilian, who came up short in his only other title shot more than seven years. And it wasn’t that long ago that Teixeira was mired in a 2-3 slump before rattling off six straight wins, including five stoppages, to claim UFC gold. When you think about this late resurgence from Teixeira, is it the greatest career comeback we’ve ever seen in the UFC?
