Francis Ngannou can no longer officially claim the title of UFC heavyweight champion after leaving the promotion due to failed negotiations, and that’s alright by Israel Adesanya . The former middleweight champ told media at UFC 284 that he supports Ngannou’s decision to walk away from the promotion after he was unable to get what he wanted in a new deal. Although the two sides have parted ways, Adesanya believes there will be a reunion at some point in the near future that will lead to Ngannou taking center stage in marquee heavyweight UFC fights
