Following a disappointing third-round submission loss to Demian Maia at Saturday night’s UFC 198 event, Brown allegedly was attacked by his former Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach, Rodrigo Botti. Video that appears to have been shot by Jason Parillo, who was in Brazil to corner Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, has since surfaced showing the aftermath of the incident. UFC commentator Brian Stann witnessed the incident, initially believing it was a random fan who went after Brown, who invoked the wrath of the Brazilian fans by taunting them with obscene gestures at Friday’s official weigh-ins. Random fan runs into hotel, hits Matt Brown, and runs. Matt's friend catches him
