The weigh-ins took place at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Lightweight headliners Michael Johnson (16-10 MMA, 8-6 UFC) and Dustin Poirier (20-4 MMA, 12-3 UFC) got in each others’ faces and were separated by matchmaker Sean Shelby. But after Johnson got his finger in the direction of Poirier, Poirier got his hand right up on Johnson’s noggin – and things got truly heated.
