MMA fighters branching out into the boxing world nearly have been a dime a dozen these days. Even though he’s presumably retired, former two-division UFC champion and all-time great Georges St-Pierre reportedly had a boxing match lined up with former boxing champ and current promoter Oscar De La Hoya. But UFC president Dana White, according to St-Pierre, stepped in and blocked a potential matchup. That set De La Hoya off, and he challenged White himself to a fight. This is the MMA world we’re living in, folks.
