With the females taking the top spots at UFC 184, how do their male counterparts feel? Pretty encouraging, actually. Saturday’s pay-per-view card, which takes place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, features women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) vs. Cat Zingano (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in the co-headliner, and highly touted newcomer and former pro boxer Holly Holm (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) meets fellow bantamweight Raquel Pennington (5-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) in the co-headliner. In terms of the female co-headliners, it’s a historic PPV card for the UFC. And that fact isn’t lost on fellow UFC 184 fighters such Gleison Tibau, Josh Koscheck, Jake Ellenberger and Richard Walsh – and the women themselves – who called it a “monumental weekend” that’s “good for the sport.” Check out the full video above.
