Pettis won the title with a submission of Benson Henderson at UFC 164 and has made one successful title defense, submitting Gilbert Melendez at UFC 181. He’s currently on a five-fight winning streak. Dos Anjos has won three in a row and eight of his last 10, most recently dominating Nate Diaz at UFC on FOX 13. Carla Esparza (10-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) faces Joanna Jedrzejczyk (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in the evening’s co-main event
